I
get a message saying "No Data Logger Device Connected"
when trying to start a session
The PGA-710 Autoanalyzer must be connected using
the provided USB Cable as described on Page 10 of the
Operations Manual. With the battery switch in ON position,
press the System ON/Sleep button - twice if necessary
-- until the LED's are ON. The slow flashing Green LED
indicates system is ON and operating properly, the lower
Yellow LED indicates the unit is communicating with the
computer. If the unit is ON and you still get "No
Logger Device Connected" that means you had an ESD
event discharge into your USB. To clear this, disconnect
the USB cable from the computer and then re-connect it.

How
to troubleshoot Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 installation
issues
URL: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;824643
This step-by-step article describes how to troubleshoot
issues that you may experience when you install the
.NET Framework 1.1.
When Microsoft Windows Installer is incorrectly registered
in the Windows registry, the .NET Framework 1.1 Setup
program cannot gain access to some Windows Installer
components. This article discusses how to work around
this issue by unregistering and then reregistering Windows
Installer.
You may not always be able to completely remove the
.NET Framework 1.1 by using the Add/Remove Programs
tool in Control Panel. This article also discusses how
to work around this issue either by manually removing
the .NET Framework 1.1 from your computer and then reinstalling
the .NET Framework 1.1, or by repairing the .NET Framework
1.1.

Error Code 31 is
showing on my screen
Message 31 indicates one of two things: (1) the
computer lost connection to the 710 Autoanalyzer, or
(2) the system saw an ESD event that "locked up"
your computer's USB port. In the first case, if the
PGA-710 is OFF turn it back ON. If the PGA-710 is ON,
disconnect the USB cable from your computer, then plug
it back in -- this resets the USB port.

The
PGA-710 will not power on via it's USB when the battery
dies out
You will need to connect the universal charger
to the PGA-710 and plug the charger into a wall outlet
power supply. Let it charge for 30 to 45 minutes. Then
connect the computer USB to the PGA-710 while it is
still charging from the unitversal charger.
When operating, it uses 108 to 112 ma from the battery.
The computer USB only provides maximum of 100 ma. So,
the battery will eventually be empty if the PGA-710
continues to operate when connected to computer USB
and it is never charged from the universal charger.
NOTE: You can charge the PGA-710 battery over a long
period from the USB if the PGA-710 is OFF and the computer
is ON. But, it takes a long time.
The Universal wall charger provides about 280 to 320
ma to charge the battery. You can operate the PGA-710
while it is charging from the wall charger and it is
also connected to the USB.
