Every ESD safe environment requires wearing a wrist strap and controlled footwear when working on sensitive electronics for assembly or repair. The PTS-879 is the perfect set up for the small repair depot or assembly and repair department for daily testing of those controls.

This set includes one each battery operated wrist strap/footwear checker. The checker can be mount on the wall with convenient Velcro supplied, or kept on the table top. Also included is a single foot plate for measuring heel and sole grounders or shoes. The foot plate attaches to the checker using a test lead included. Included is the PAR-809C Resistance Reference for self-certifying the wrist strap/footwear checker instead of sending the meter out for calibration or certification.

The PAR-809C can also be used to verify any resistance measuring equipment for accuracy whenever you want. This instrument can save thousands of dollars in outside verification costs. No downtime waiting the instruments to return.
